So this past Friday, a couple of us got together and just had a blast with a LAN party I set up at my house. Lots of fun was had. Took us a while to get everything setup but it was lots of fun.There were 9 of us so the teams were uneven. That was resolved by having one of us be on his own team. It was just too hilarious, best of all my friend Necz and Sisco both held their own against incredible odds and each got a pretty decent amount of points. A few friends left early but we kept it going til 4 in the morning with some great Slayer matches.
The over all tone was just fun. Everyone left satisfied and would definitely do it again. Just don't know if I would do it in my house again. Setup and Clean up is a bitch. I was browsing through the net though and wish I had found this before my party.
It comes to your house and leaves when you are done. 16 XBoxes hooked up to 16 HD sets in an RV. It's a dream come true. How much is it??? $500 bucks for 4hrs. Not really worth it, but the idea is brilliant.
Only one downer to the whole night: Halo's greatest feature (saved films) didn't work and we have no save films of all the crazy things we did. That really pissed me off since we did some really funny stuff. Guess it will remain in our memories instead. It was insanely fun regardless and needs to be done again.
Did it not save the films since you were not on xbox live?
yup....I read on Bungie.net that it has happened to many people. Things is one of the boxes will have all the films and you have to save them or they will be lost when you play online again.
