Just about a week ago I had the pleasure to go to South Beach for my wife's birthday. Let me just sum it up by saying that, if you haven't been to there, hop on a plane right now and go.
Everything about it was great; the food, the beaches, jet skiing, the clubs....everything. The spots I liked the most were Jerry's, Fat Tuesdays and Opium.
Opium itself was amazing. It's a club with no roof. So you are basically dancing and drinking in a courtyard, but even that doesn't paint the right picture of the place. You just have to be there.
Did I mention the Royal Palm Hotel (where we stayed at) was nice enough to upgrade us to a Suite? Well they did... What you don't believe me?? You calling me a liar? I thought we were friends :( Anyway, "friend", it had an awesome view and two rooms each with it's own bathroom (one for us and one for the Martinez's who we went on the trip with).
It was just good memories all around. My wife, our friends and I had a great time.
I'm sure my wife had a great time for her b-day weekend out there.
Sounds like Fun...My wife and I would like to travel more, but our two kids make getting out of town a bit difficult!
We are getting out as much as we can now. I know how hard it can be to travel after kids from just the stories I hear....and not seeing too much of some of my friends after they have kids.
Kids are great though! I'm gonna name my two "Player 2" and "Player 3" when they are born.
